Reunions anyone?

So, anyone considering going to our 15th reunion? Cheesy themes and ugly websites aside, I’m potentially interested in attending, to see long-lost friends and to get into NYC to visit my terrific aunt Christie. But, before I commit myself and my very reluctant husband, I wanted to check to see who was thinking of coming. Drop a note!

    Hi Dunrie,

How are you? Long time, no see! I would love to catch up with you but am not sure I will make the trek out to NJ as I have a ton of weddings and trips planned this year, and it might be really difficult to swing this. Please let me know if you ever come to SF. It would be fun to catch up. I hope you are doing well.

    Hi Dunrie –
I believe we will, but I too am trying to convince my reluctant husband! But he did wear the construction get-up at the 10th so there is some hope. . .
    take care, Kris

Will probably go and would love to see you there, but I’m having sticker shock at the price of entry. I’m sure it’s not that much more than in years past–I guess I’m just getting cheap in my old age. Also, now that we have the bambino, it’s hard to imagine getting much value out of the late-night, beer-swilling portion of the show.

BTW, just emailed with Rick Hough, one of the Reunions organizers, and he says that they’re planning to offer a Saturday-only registration option for $160–probably by mid-March or so. (But for now, they want to encourage people to sign up for the whole deal.)

The Saturday-only option would probably be best for Phil, who’s a Jersey native, and will spend a good part of the weekend visiting friends. And plus he can only take so much of the whole rah-rah Princeton thing. Anyway, just thought I’d mention that there’ll be a one-day option since I think you said you might spend part of the weekend visiting friends/family.

Wish I had seen Katherine’s email before I signed up! But I did sign up our clan for the whole thing even though we plan on arriving Friday night. Does anyone know about on-campus housing with kids? I’m hoping they have cribs available, but I have no idea. We’ll see what happens! Hope you guys decide to come!

Oooh! Like the one day option. Would be great to connect. Saturday is P-rade, no?

    Samta Khandelwal-Kundu is a maybe/maybe not.
    Sue (McMurry) Archer will attend.

Wow…This is what I get for having an old email address on record that isn’t actually defunct. Just saw your message today! Oops.

Great to “hear” those voices from the past. I’m pretty sure I’m coming in for Saturday-only, as I have some familial obligations the rest of the weekend. I’m trying to convince my wife Hilary (and daughter Serena) to come for the day part and maybe I’ll fend for myself for the evening part. (I’m not doing a great job as I can’t stand the hokey themes and steep price of admission.)

My, oh my…Dunrie, I tried doing a blog and found myself having created only 3 entries in a year. (Oh, but what good entries they were.) You are amazing! (I can’t quite keep my eyes open right now to comprehend them…But I’m sorry to hear about the job angst.)
