I did find <a href="http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/links/link.jsp?id=0012094520955a&type=product&cmCat=SEARCH&returnPage=search-results1.jsp&QueryText=air+compressor&N=4887&Ntk=Products&Ntx=mode+matchall&Nty=1&Ntt=air+compressor&noImage=0" rel="nofollow">this compressor on the Cabela's website</a>. The reviews are kind of polar, though, so I'm going to keep on looking before I buy.

Ages ago, when I had my first car -- a VW Microbus which was designed to use air pressure from the spare tire rather than a pump to pressurize the windshield washer fluid reservoir -- I bought for $18 a small air compressor which plugged into the lighter port. I'm pretty sure I still have it somewhere, though I currently own no vehicles which have the requisite port.

Anyway, these things should still be readily available in auto parts stores fr reasonably low prices.
